I'm so excited and I just can't hide it

Oh, I know what kind of person I've always been.  Easily excited, easily distracted, overcommitted, and so on and so on and so on...I have 30 books stacked around my nightstand and have a hard time finishing reading a book, let alone writing one.  

But a few days ago, almost two years after I started working on my proposal, something remarkable happened.  I finished writing my first book.  

I'm a little excited.
